The 2014 & 2015 World Cinema Season

For the fourth consecutive year, The Fugard Theatre Bioscope once again partnered with The Royal Opera House, The Royal Ballet and Bolshoi Ballet Companies, as well as Great Britain’s National Theatre Live Season bringing Cape Town audiences the very finest in theatre, opera and ballet, from the World’s most famous stages, all in full digital high-definition and surround-sound on an enormous cinema screen in the comfort of the Fugard Theatre. Titles in the season included A Small Family Business, Medea, A Streetcar Named Desire, Skylight, King Lear and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
