Featuring a full band led by Godfrey Johnson, Pieter-Dirk Uys’s Bambi slaughtered sacred cows with her sharp wit, and The Federasie van Afrikaanse Kultuurvereniginge (FAK) Songbook was ripped to pieces, rearranged and spiced up with bloodthirsty vulgarity and embarrassingly accurate lyrics containing all the sad sordidness and joy of the human condition.
