Open Book Festival 2018

For the 7th year, the Fugard Theatre was the hub of the Open Book Festival which ran in September 2018. Once again offering a world-class selection of book launches, panel discussions, workshops, masterclasses, readings, performances and more. The event, which also includes the popular Comics Fest, #cocreatePoetica and children’s and outreach programmes, took place at The Fugard Theatre, District Six Homecoming Centre and The Book Lounge in Cape Town. Authors included Lesley Nneka Arimah, Nicole Dennis-Benn David Chariandy, Aminatta Forna, Mariana Enriquez, Adam Smyer, Frankie Edozien, Anna Dahlqvist, Jonas Bonnier, Mariko Tamaki and Guy Delisle
