Singer and songwriter Michelle Shocked performed at the Fugard Theatre with a long-time touring partner, bassist Schalk Joubert of Cape Town, for two sold-out performances. Michelle Shocked is an American singer-songwriter. Her music entered the Billboard Hot 100, was nominated for a Grammy award for Best Contemporary Folk Recording, and received a Folk Album of the Year at the CMJ New Music Awards.
