Legendary Afrikaans rock-chic Karen Zoid took to the Fugard stage for two live concerts to start her ten cities, ten gigs ‘Afrikaners is Plesierig’ 10th-anniversary tour. Since the release of her first solo album, Poles Apart, Zoid’s albums have gone gold with hits like Beautiful, Afrikaners is Plesierig, Small Room and Aerop lane Jane. This 2 Night engagement started a long and prosperous relationship between Karen and The Fugard, with Karen returning to perform on the Fugard stage multiple times.
