The Fugard Fest of Comedy

Sensational funnyman Alan Committie headed up and hosted a star-studded comedy line-up at the Fugard Theatre leading up to the festive season. A core group of comedians and a handful of guests(Stuart Taylor, Riaad Moosa, Martin Davis) give audiences the perfect way to unwind and have a bit of a laugh. It wasn’t serious theatre designed to leave you examining the very essence of human nature – it was pure, frivolous fun; and was pretty clean too. It was half winter Christmas, complete with funky snowman, and half South African Christmas, with requisite beach balls and umbrella – the whole show was a fine mix of comedic styles and personalities.
