Overview
Blood Brothers, adapted from the original Willy Russel production, was produced by Pieter Toerien and Eric Abraham for Theatre on the Bay and The Fugard Theatre and opened at the Theatre on the Bay, Cape Town, on 18 September 2013; it then transferred to the Montecasino Theatre in Johannesburg in November and then opened at the Fugard on the 12th of February 2014. It was reimagined and set in District 6 by long-time Fugard theatre collaborator David Kramer.
Blood Brothers is the story of two brothers separated at birth, brought together again through a chance meeting. “
